Survey of rice stored pest in The Upper Northern part of Thailand was done in 3 agricultural cooperatives (Nongmuongkai, Maejai and Chiangsaen) using food trap during December 2011 – November 2012. The results showed that 25 stored rice insect pest were found (18 important insect pests and 7 natural enemies). At Nongmoungkai, the important insect pests were Liposcelis spp., Lophocateres pusillus, Sitophillus oryzae and Ceyptolestes pusillus were found with the survey number of 2, 206, 580, 365 and 108 respectively. The natural enemies Xylocoris flavipes was found with the number of 225. At Maejai, the important insect pests were S. oryzae, L. pusillus, L. spp., Rhyzoopertha dominica C. pusillus and Oryzaephilus surinamensis found with the survey number of 3,816, 2,814, 915, 741, 612 and 416 respectively. The 806 natural enemies (Theocolax elegans) was found. At Chiangsaen, the important insect pests were S. oryzae, L. spp., R. dominica, L. pusillus and Sitotroga cerealella found with the survey number of 4,609, 1,573, 988, 627 and 535 respectively. 3,821 and 1,271 natural enemies T. elegans and X. flavipes were found. The percentage damage from food trap at Nongmuongkai, Maejai and Chiangsaen was 5.1, 17.1 and 25% respectively.
การสำรวจแมลงศัตรูข้าวในโรงเก็บ จากฉางข้าวเปลือกของสหกรณ์การเกษตรในเขตภาคเหนือตอนบน 3 แห่ง คือ สหกรณ์การเกษตรหนองม่วงไข่ จ.แพร่ สหกรณ์การเกษตรแม่ใจ จ.พะเยา และ สหกรณ์การเกษตรเชียงแสน จ.เชียงราย โดยใช้กับดักอาหารข้าวสารเต็มเมล็ดพันธุ์ขาวดอกมะลิ 105 น้ำหนัก 1 กิโลกรัม บรรจุในถุงพลาสติกสานวางในกรงดักหนู ฉางละ 5 ซ้ำ เป็นเวลา 1 เดือน หลังจากนั้นนำไปตรวจนับชนิด ปริมาณแมลงศัตรูที่พบ และประเมินความเสียหายของกับดักอาหารที่ถูกทำลาย ตั้งแต่ เดือนธันวาคม 2554 - พฤศจิกายน 2555 พบแมลงศัตรูในโรงเก็บ 25 ชนิด แบ่งเป็นแมลงศัตรูของเมล็ดพืช 18 ชนิด และแมลงศัตรูธรรมชาติ 7 ชนิด ที่สหกรณ์การเกษตรหนองม่วงไข่ แมลงศัตรูข้าวที่สำคัญและพบมาก ได้แก่ เหาหนังสือ (Liposcelis spp.) มอดสยาม (Lophocateres pusillus) ด้วงงวงข้าว (Sitophilus oryzae) และมอดหนวดยาว (Cryptolestes pusillus) จำนวน 2,206, 580, 365 และ 108 ตัว ตามลำดับ แมลงศัตรูธรรมชาติ ที่พบมาก ได้แก่ มวนไซโลคอรีส (Xylocoris flavipes) จำนวน 225 ตัว ที่สหกรณ์การเกษตรแม่ใจ แมลงศัตรูข้าวที่สำคัญและพบมาก ได้แก่ ด้วงงวงข้าว (S.oryzae) มอดสยาม (L. pusillus) เหาหนังสือ (L. spp.) มอดหัวป้อม (Rhyzopertha dominica) มอดหนวดยาว(C. pusillus) และมอดฟันเลื่อย (Oryzaephilus surinamensis) จำนวน 3,816, 2,814, 915, 741, 612 และ 416 ตัว ตามลำดับ แมลงศัตรูธรรมชาติที่พบมาก คือ แตนเบียนด้วง (Theocolax elegans) จำนวน 806 ตัว ที่สหกรณ์การเกษตรเชียงแสน แมลงศัตรูที่สำคัญและพบมาก ได้แก่ ด้วงงวงข้าว (S. oryzae) เหาหนังสือ (L. spp.) มอดหัวป้อม (R. dominica) มอดสยาม (L. pusillus) และ ผีเสื้อข้าวเปลือก (Sitotroga cerealella) จำนวน 4,609, 1,573, 988, 627 และ 535 ตัว ตามลำดับ แมลงศัตรูธรรมชาติที่พบมาก คือ แตนเบียนด้วง (T. elegans) และมวนไซโลคอรีส (X. flavipes) จำนวน 3,821 และ 1,271 ตัว ตามลำดับ เปอร์เซ็นต์ความเสียหายของกับดักอาหารที่สหกรณ์ฯ หนองม่วงไข่ สหกรณ์ฯ แม่ใจ และสหกรณ์ฯ เชียงแสน เท่ากับ 5.1, 17.1 และ 25.0% ตามลำดับ แสดงให้เห็นว่าที่สหกรณ์การเกษตรเชียงแสน มีการทำลายของแมลงในโรงเก็บสูงกว่าสหกรณ์การเกษตรแม่ใจ และสหกรณ์การเกษตรหนองม่วงไข่
